I love photography because is about creating something that can only be captured once. You can give two people in the same room a camera and end up with two very different perspectives, the ability of images to tell a story about the people in them, a uniqueness created by any number of variables--the setting, the people, interactions between those people, angles, perspective, and light. Then there are those perfect moments where I can capture your smile, a smirk, a laugh, a moment of surprise, wanderlust, adventure, contentment, all emotions of what makes a photograph true to who you are at that moment.

I'm not your traditional portrait photographer--I like to capture moments as they unfold, but also feel that those moments are best created when you are at ease with me and confident in front of the camera. Natural light plays a big part in my images, and feel so lucky to live in Southern California where we experience plenty of beautiful light and golden haze allowing me to create images that are natural, airy, and organic feeling.
